Hi I'm Bill

I'm an Electrical Engineer. I enjoy solving problems and I love my wife and our 4 sons. We live in Texas! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy my work helping businesses in the south central United States implement mobile phone and tablet technologies to solve their business challenges. This keeps me on the road traveling quite a bit, but it makes the high point of my week more enjoyable when I get home and get to go out to eat with my wife and look into her eyes-- connecting with her. We are very blessed to be parents of four wonderful sons. We are very proud of their many accomplishments. We have all spent time learning how to work and play together; working in our yard, playing basketball, watching Seinfeld and occasionally going to movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful to know that I am a child of God. He loves me; knows my weaknesses and my strengths. He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to create this beautiful world experience so that I can learn during my life. Jesus lived a perfect life and showed me, by example, how to be a better person. All of the principles Jesus Christ taught-- praying often, being humble, repenting of sins, forgiving others, not judging. These are the principles I try to live by. I love the sermon on the mount-- blessed are the peacemakers, blessed are the pure in heart, blessed are they who mourn, to name just a few, have blessed my life and have given me hope and faith to move ahead, especially when I feel stressed, tempted, or alone. I know that my Savior bled and died for me, willingly hung on the cross for me, and then rose from the dead and lives today. He understands me; He will be my advocate and my judge. "Though my sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" through the miracle of His infinite atonement. I know that His sacrifice somehow fixes all of the wrongs that I have ever done and will do; heals all of the hurt and pain that I have felt and gives me peace in my life, simply by asking in daily prayers, and striving to be the best that I can in return. I have learned these beautiful doctrines by studying the scriptures, pondering and questioning my own thoughts and feelings. I enjoy hearing a modern day Prophet and Apostles teach what Jesus would teach if he were here. I enjoy interacting regularly with others who have studied and believe as I do; who, like me, are not perfect, but are trying to get a little bit closer to it each day. I am grateful that there are many people who help encourage and teach our sons and family the principles that help us to work towards our goal of being an eternal family; to live as a family in the presence of God the Father, and His son Jesus Christ after this mortal existence.

How I live my faith

I enjoy working with boys and young men in the Boy Scouts of America program. I also teach a Sunday School class of 11 and 12 year old boys where we study the scriptures and learn more about Jesus Christ and His gospel. We meet regularly on Wednesday nights and learn first aid, knot tying, and leadership among others. One of things I most enjoy is observing boys turn into young men, and young men grow into adults. I am grateful to have been doing this long enough to see them marry and become good husbands and fathers. I also enjoy treating the people I work with the way that I enjoy to be treated. I am confident that in the long run this will always work out the best for me and our family.
