Hi I'm Bryce

I'm a college student. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music has always been a huge part of my life. My parents both played instruments and were very supportive of my musical endeavors, whether I was singing, playing piano, or playing trombone, my main instrument. Between choral groups, jazz ensembles, and marching bands, I've been able to perform in concerts across the nation and around the world. Thanks to amazing music teachers, I've been able to expand my talents and express myself in a way that words can't. I am currently in college studying music education in the hopes that I can someday help others develop their talents and discover the joy that can only come through musical experiences. When I'm not playing or listening to music, I love cooking/eating food, motorcycling, skiing, and hanging out with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

As a musician, it seems I am frequently performing or attending concerts. On very rare occasion, a piece will be performed that is so beautifully powerful that it touches me emotionally and sends chills across my entire body. I can't describe in words how amazing, peaceful, and spiritual it feels. Try as I might, I can't create this feeling myself. It comes from some outside source. However, this same exact feeling of amazing peace and joy comes to me when I study and live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I cannot deny this powerful feeling, which I have come to know is the Holy Ghost personally testifying of the truthfulness of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

To me, living my faith is so much more than going to church every Sunday. Living my faith involves starting and ending each day on my knees in humble prayer, studying holy scripture daily (especially the Book of Mormon, which truly testifies of Jesus Christ), and most importantly trying to follow the perfect example of my Savior by looking for opportunities to serve my family, my friends, and anyone else who could use a helping hand, an encouraging word, or even just a friendly smile.
