Hi I'm Clara

I'm a Mormon. And a nurse, aunt, neighbor, sister, daughter, etc. But most importantly a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho with my associates in nursing. I received my nursing license last month and I am not looking for a job! I'm going on a mission to Peru for 18 months so that I can dedicate more time to sharing the gospel of Christ. I will also be serving as the mission nurse specialist- which might be code for lots for paper work. We'll see! I love my dog, reading, hiking, the gospel, and my family. If I could choose how I spent my time I would never step foot on civilized soil! But unfortunately I'm no hermit-mountain women. I need people and running water. Nursing school has taught me the value of soap, faucets, and clean food. So I choose live in a house and indulge myself in a using gadgets like washing machines and toilets.

Why I am a Mormon

Over the course of my short life I have gathered up bits and pieces of gospel truth that cause my heart burn with an assurance that Christ restored His gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith by divine revelation, and this form of communication continues today through God's Prophet- President Thomas S. Monson. When I think of the gospel and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I am filled with joy, peace, and a desire to share my faith. I am a Mormon because this is Jesus Christ's church. The more I live it the stronger my testimony of it's truth grows.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means being conscious of my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ's will for me at every moment. To live my faith means to be like Christ. It means to have faith, hope charity, love, brotherly kindness, temperance, to morn with those that morn, to comfort those that stand in need of comfort and to be true the promises and covenants I have made with my Father in Heaven. I won't pretend that I do all these things 100% of the time but I strive to become want Christ knows I can one day be and by doing so I find peace.
