Hi I'm Jenna

I was raised by loving parents, I'm serving a mission in Oregon, and I'm a Mormon.:)

About Me

I am a Southerner. I love to have fun, be kind to others, and watch people grow in the gospel. I'm on a mission in the Oregon Portland area, and have grown a ton in my time out here.

Why I am a Mormon

I think it's amazing, how God's plan is for everyone, and is perfect. It covers all bases. Whoever doesn't hear about His Gospel, is given another chance in the life hereafter. And yes, we are judged on our actions, but ultimately on the feelings of our hearts: I feel like being a better person, when I live the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's through Jesus Christ, His sacrifice for me, and God's plan for my family, that I can live with them again. For me, that is incredible. How could God love me so much as to provide His son, so that I would be able to repent and live with them in Heaven. I'm weak, and I shouldn't even be able to pray to Him, but through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and God's plan, it's all good. It's all supremely HARD WORK! But, it's all good.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Portland Oregon, right now. But that's not what I define "living my faith" by. I serve others and live my faith, by being aware of those around me that I should do more for, and bearing my testimony to as many people as I feel comfortable with, haha. Luckily, that number grows each day, as I really truly believe it, myself. I live it by helping my peers know through my words, deeds, and actions that I truly believe in this Gospel, and telling them and my family as often as I can :) I live my faith by growing and striving each day to be more like my Saviour, Jesus Christ, hopefully, through being on a mission in another place than home: helping others to come unto Christ, as well. It's difficult but as I pray every five seconds, practically ;) for strength and guidance, I see His hand more and more in my life and in what I should do.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Jenna
Haha because it's true! What other organization has growth like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? It's incredible. I'm always testing out my feelings about the church, and the gospel, and every time, I get the answer that there is nothing like this. This is God's true church on the earth, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is once more being taught in its fullness. It's great. We're pretty blessed to have this knowledge!!! Show more Show less
