Hi I'm Corinne May

I am from Utah. I am going to school and learning Photography. I'm a proud Mormon!

About Me

I am going to the Art Institute of SLC & I am majoring in Photography. I Love it! I am an aunt of 22 nieces & nephews & one on the way. I love them all very much! They are the love of my life right now!! I am Single, Your welcome to change that if you have respect for me and don't try and change me. I won't change for anybody. :) Wanna know anything else Feel free to ask me!! (:

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I have a past in high school I don't like to discuss. That was a point in my life where I was rebelious against the church. I am not anymore, I am a proud daughter of my Heavenly Father. I know that this church is true. I have a very strong testimony of our savior, he died for us. I owe him my life! So therefore I WILL follow his commandments. He is my friend, and forever will be! He is always welcome in my life! Wanna know anything else I will do my best to answer your question! (:

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by praying day & night and when times get hard or when I want to thank Heavenly Father for the many blessings I have in life. I am trying to be better at reading my scriptures daily. It's a working progress. (: My faith and testimony are growing. I am currently going to a singles ward in South Jordan, UT. My calling there is the ward Photographer. I make it a priority in my life that no matter how early or late my church Is I drag myself out of bed to get there even if it kills me. Church is my #2 Priority in life, Family is my #1. I love it when my nieces or nephews ask me questions like "When we die where do we go?" "I tell them depends on how good you are! (: But no matter who you are or what you become Heavenly Father will always love you and you will always be his son/daughter." I also just love when they tell me that "Heavenly father can hear and know everything that you say and do, he is always watch out for us. He has my back!" ha ha I Love it! It makes me so happy and proud to be an aunt! They strengthen my testimony daily with the things they say!

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Corinne May
There are no race or color restrictions as to who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are also no race or color restrictions as to who can have the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. An official declaration of the Church states, “every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood, with power to exercise its divine authority, and enjoy with his loved ones every blessing that flows therefrom, including the blessings of the temple. Accordingly, all worthy male members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color.” (Doctrine and Covenants, Official Declaration – 2, 294). Gordon B. Hinckley, prior President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, reaffirmed this principle when speaking to the National Press Club in Washington D.C.: “We believe in the old adage that many hands make light work. We have a lay priesthood, and every worthy man is eligible to receive this priesthood.” Show more Show less
