Hi I'm Júnior

I'm a son. I'm a student. I love to write and to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a nerd. I love music. I love to sing, maybe a little too much. I sometimes listen to music and sing more than I study and do homework. I used to draw manga, but I haven't in a while. I love to watch movies and TV shows with friends and family and I love to spend time with friends and family. I am a convert to the Church, and it is still one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I served a full-time mission in the Brazil São Paulo Interlagos Mission from June 2013 to May 2015. That was another one of the best decisions I made in my life. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

Not long ago, I was against going to church of any kind. When my mom would invite me to attend with her at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I would refuse. I was even mean about it. It took a long time to finally get through to me, but everyone who was involved finally got through. The Lord called me at that specific time in my life. He sent my mother, my grandmother, two new friends, even more friends, six missionaries, and all of their love and support and encouragement. It took me about four months, but I was finally baptized in early 2012. What I just described is one of my big reasons for being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Love. the love of the Savior and our Heavenly Father is shining brilliantly through the members of His Church. Even when they do not believe they can shine so brilliantly, they can. The simplicity of love, support, and service are what I love. There is nothing like it. I felt it as an investigator. I felt it on the day of my baptism and after my baptism. I felt it when I had troubles and worries. I felt it serving the people as a full-time missionary in the Brazil São Paulo Interlagos Mission. The love of Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ is very apparent. They love us so much, and we are so blessed to feel this love.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith... One day at a time. The gospel is what gives us peace, and what gives us happiness. Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and gave us His Son to give us that opportunity. He also knows that we are not perfect, so one day at a time is okay. Every day is another opportunity to learn, to change, and to better ourselves a little more each day with His help, guidance, and love.
