Both have ADHD (Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder) and our son Brannden whom was diagnosed with Autism at age 3 has been excelling in his mathamatics. Rob is my husband. Why I am a Mormon

Mainly because I have several relitives in Colorado including my Grandfather and Grandmother whom passed away already whom are Mormons. I have seen a lot of great things come from them as members. My memories of my Grandfather's funeral impacted me so much that when we came back from Denver, Colorado I knew it would be the best decision for me. when i first decided, i drove to the nearest church and found it was closed but Elders where there so i knocked and knocked (at the time i didn't know better) but when they answered the door they were shocked to know instead of them looking for me i was actually looking for them! I was asksed to enter there was about 8-10 Elders insisde...They were laughing at how unsual it was for this to be happening. Later I found out that my imidiate family were Mormon members, now distant converts. The decision has sparked my husband and my daughter to convert. I feel that when i decided to convert to Mormon I did it out of the love i had for my Grandfather but now it is for the love i feel and the spirit i feel in my heart.

How I live my faith

It took us going through hard times to actually continue our faith in this church. We moved out of my parents home in October of 2011 and it has taken us all this time to actually find ourselves comfortable in our religion. I found out that we needed to be seeking out help and aksing questions to actually be involved in the church. It is like everything else if it is somthing you want for yourself and your family, you need to help yourself and your family not expect the members or the elders to always be guiding you or inviting you. I kept asking questions A LOT! I felt too overwhelmed at times but i would always look back at the panthelets the elders gave me at first. It has taken our family alot of struggling but it is how we choose to live. Our faith in this church is a great one! I am a Mormon and Proud.
