Hi I'm Makenna

I'm a North Carolinian, Radiologic Technologist, sports lover, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a recent college graduated adjusting to the real world. I am one of 7 children and have 9 adorable nieces and nephews. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love the outdoors, hiking, the beach, mountains, and just relaxing anywhere! I love the south and the North Carolina Tar Heels!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the right thing to do. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me, and I can live the way I am supposed to by following the principles taught in the church. I was blessed to have been born into a loving family who helped me grow up in the church, but have branched off on my own in the last few years. I know Heavenly Father is always watching over me, listening to my prayers, and helping me through every day. That gives me strength to live in this world that just keeps getting more and more challenging. The Book of Mormon and Latter Day prophets give me much needed guidance in my life. This is a time in my life of many challenges and big decisions. I am grateful that I can count on the power of prayer to help me through.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly striving to be a good example to those around me. I have friends who know what my beliefs are and who respect those beliefs. I love serving in the church and currently have the opportunity to be the Relief Society President in the local singles ward. It is such a blessing to be able to understand to a small degree the love that Heavenly Father has for each of us as His children and specifically His daughters. We are all special to Him in our own ways, and we all have something to contribute to His kingdom at this time.
