Hi I'm Amber

I'm a Mormon. I am a convert and I come from a very religiously diverse family.

About Me

I am happily married and have one son. I work for a veterinary clinic. My husband, son and I are the only members in our family. I have been a member of the church for 7 years now. I LOVE reading and watching movies with my family. Our extended family has members of many different faiths in them. We have family members who are Pentecostal, Baptist and Methodist. My husband and I are both converts to the church. We are so glad that we are able to raise our family with the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband introduced me to the church shortly after we got married. It was very important for us to raise our son in a Christian atmosphere. My husband had the missionaries come and speak with me and I prayed a lot about the church and the decision to join. I felt like Heavenly Father was with me the entire time and confirmed that the church was true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that we have living prophets on the Earth with us today. They help guide and direct us. I believe that the family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for us. I believe that families are eternal.

How I live my faith

We pray together as a family every night and that helps strengthen our family and our relationship with Heavenly Father. We pray together as husband and wife for guidance on how to lead our family. I pray as an individual. We attend church as often as we can and are very active in all of the social events at the church.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Our family is eternal. As parents, it is our responsibility to help guide and teach our children. As a husband and wife, we are able to offer strength and support to each other to complete the tasks that Heavenly Father has sent us to do. There is nothing more comforting than knowing that no matter what, I will be with my husband and son for time and all eternity. Even if we do not leave this Earth at the same time, we will be together forever. Show more Show less
