Hi I'm Rachel

I love to country dance, laugh, extract teeth, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I feel like there is never enough time to do and try everything I would like to. Biting off just barely enough to chew seems to be my lot in life... but I wouldn't have it any other way! Although from Farmington, Utah, I currently live in Amarillo and am slowly becoming Texan. Back home I worked as an assistant to an Oral Surgeon and loved it. My passions are country dancing, laughing, playing my cello, shopping, discussing politics and human nature; I love to run and spend time outdoors. I am the middle child of 7 siblings; my sisters are my best friends and my brothers care for and listen to me more than I ever have deserved.

Why I am a Mormon

Someone once told me, "When the Atonement of Christ is active in your life, you can feel the spirit on a regular basis." I have had too many beautiful spiritual confirmations of the truth of His gospel to live any other way! The best way to determine if someting is true is to act on it and recognize the results- whether positive or not. In simple, that's what I have done. Jesus Christ, in John 7:17, said, "If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether i speak of myself." If you want to taste it's goodness, you gotta take a bite! The lifestyle that comes with being a Mormon brings more peace, direction and happiness than any other lifestyle I've known.

How I live my faith

It really is a lifestyle. I'd say it's little things are the most important. I live my faith by serving and loving others; and living in such a way that others can see me as a representitive of Jesus Christ. Currently I am serving a full time mission in the Bible belt of Texas helping others "find Jesus" for themselves.
