Hi I'm Monica

I'm 20 years old, I don't really know who I am yet, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm monica, I grew up in Maryland, lived a year in England, a year in Connecticut, and will soon be moving to California. I'm a bit restless as you can tell. I'm still learning who I am, and encountering things about myself I want to change. I pray for the strength and humility to learn and grow, become a better person and a better servant of God.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother converted to the church when I was a toddler. She found herself alone, a single mother with two daughters, trying to make ends meet. When she walked into the Washington DC temple visitors center she knew she was meant to be a mormon. I grew up in the church, and the more I learn about myself the more I realise the impact the church has had on my life. It gave me strength, stability, an extended family, and the courage to stand up for myself.

How I live my faith

The church is the most important part of my life. I do my best to serve in the church and to progress spiritually.
