Hi I'm Mindy Benson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 4 children. I love to spend time with my family doing anything. We love being outside, going camping, biking, 4wheeling, and going on walks. We also love spending time with our extended families. My family is my life and sometimes I don't have much free time, but I enjoy scrapbooking and reading. My kids are involved in things like, karate, soccer, gymnastics, school, church and playing with friends! It is busy, but we have lots of fun being together!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ever since I was baptized at 8 years old. My family was always very active in the Church and gave me a great foundation and taught me so much. I grew up always knowing the Church was true, but I still came to a point in my life where I had to really really gain a strong testimony. Our previous prophet, President Hinkley asked all members of the church to read the Book of Mormon in 1 year. At first, I blew it off, thinking, that wasn't for me. But then I embraced it and really felt in my heart I needed to do it. That changed my life. The testimony that I gained when I was finished, is indescribable. I knew from that moment on, I could never doubt, I could never falter, I could never say that this Church was not true! I am a Mormon, because I have had the spirit witness to me that it is true. You can't deny such strong feelings in your heart. My life is full of happiness. Even though life is so very difficult. Our Heavenly Father's tender mercies are all around us! He loves us and I love him. I love my Savior and there is nothing that I want more, than to return to live with Them again!

How I live my faith

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I get to visit with other women in the ward an become friends and part of their lives. We all have struggles that we face and it is good to talk to other women and help them deal with challenges and lift their spirits in some way. I love going to church and feeling the spirit teach me wonderful truths on how I need to live my life in order to return to live with my Heavenly Father, my Savior, and my family. Reading the Book of Mormon everyday gives me the strength to carry on and live my life the best I can. I am not perfect, but each day I try and then I try again. Prayer is another part of my everyday life. I don't know how anyone can make it without constant communication with their Father in Heaven, who is there to help, to guide, to love!
