Hi I'm Amy Cloud

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Idaho and Missouri. I played the saxophone in high school and college. I love teaching piano lessons.

About Me

Music is a big part of my life. It soothes the soul, inspires the mind, and lifts my spirit. I enjoy watching the birds that come to the feeder in my yard. I love flowers and appreciate the natural beauties. I enjoy nature hikes with my family. Being a mother is both challenging and rewarding. I love it when our house is full of family members. My greatest joy comes from laughing with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given direction and meaning to my life. Since my childhood i have felt the sweet peace that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ gives. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and that He loves me and wants me to return home to dwell in His presence some day. I know Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. And that through the prophet Joseph Smith the Book of Mormon was translated and the Church of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth. I beleve the statement Joseph Smith made in the inroduction of the BOok of Mormon: "I told the brethern that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of anhy book on earth, and the keystone o f our religion, and a man would get nearer to GOd by abiding by its precepts, thatn by any other other book." I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it is true. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. And I aml filled with deep gratitude for his atonement.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching the little children in my ward. They are so sweet and they love Jesus. I also have the opportunity to play the organ for the congregation. I love the music and the words to the hymns. The hymns are a powerful in comforting, uplifting, and testifying of the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
