Hi I'm Tiffany

I was born in Utah, but grew up in Tokyo. I'm an only child with a Japanese mom and an American dad--i love my life as a Mormon♥

About Me

I am currently senior in college and will be graduating in December (2012) I have studied Political Science along with Communications. I'm going to school in Hawaii and I love it! Especially for the fact that it's sunny ALL THE TIME (except for those occasional rainstorms...) After I graduate, I plan to serve as a full-time Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and afterwards will return to school to pursue a degree in counseling. When I was younger, I moved around a lot (especially in and out of West cost US and Japan) but because of the constant moving, I constantly told people my hobby was to "make new friends". I think a part of me still holds on to that hobby because I love to talk to people, and getting to sincerely know them. Which is why I want to go in to counseling as a future career...even though it has nothing to do with what I originally studied as an undergraduate student.

Why I am a Mormon

I started off being a Mormon simply because I was born into it, and grew up in it. However, when I was about 8, I gained a knowledge that I could not ignore--that God is real, and that he truly does answer prayers. Even from a young child asking for the simplest things, (which I now look back thinking it was the stupidest thing...) but even so, God answered my prayers and gave me comfort and hope. But no matter how little or how big, he does answer prayers and loves us no matter what. I am a Mormon because I have come to know the truthfulness of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by: "...being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men;.... If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, [I will]seek after these things" (taken from the Thirteenth Article of Faith)
