Hi I'm Kylie

I grew up in California. I love to dance and help people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from California and enjoy the warm weather! I love my family! I have two younger sisters and wonderful parents. I have a passion for the arts, especially dance! I love ballet, jazz, lyrical, folk dance, zumba and hope to learn ballroom. I love to learn and be with people! I am happiest when I can serve and make a difference in someone else's life. I am studying child development and hope to be a child-life specialist or go into counseling.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was eight years old, I knelt in prayer to know if the Book of Mormon was true and if Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I felt a warm, comforting feeling of peace and joy. It was the Spirit confirming to me that what I had been studying was true. It was my choice to be baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As I did so, I felt pure and clean. The Spirit was very strong and again confirmed to me that the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the priesthood, the power of God, truly has been restored today. I have since had many experiences that help me to know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, lives and loves us and continues to lead us through a living prophet. I know He Atoned for us personally so that we can have eternal life with our families as we have faith in Him, repent, are baptized by the priesthood authority, receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost and Endure to the end of our lives.

How I live my faith

I try to pattern my life after the Savior's. I seek to help and uplift others and strive to see everyone through His eyes. I begin my day with prayer and scripture study and continue to seek to follow the promptings of the Spirit throughout the day. Even though I am far from perfect, I strive to do a little better and become a little more like Christ each day. I look forward to the sacrament each Sunday when I can renew the promises I made at baptism.
