Hi I'm Tara Hickman

I grew up in American Fork, Utah. I'm married to my best friend, and we have 3 wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in American Fork, Utah. I married my best friend in 1995, and love him so much. We have 3 children. I'm a Home Maker, for me it is the hardest job on earth but well worth it. I love to serve others, it's a hobbie to me, I could do it constantly. Sometimes my house can get really out of control because I focus too much outside of it, I'm working on that. I like baking and sharing it with my friends. Running is a stress reliever for me, so I really enjoy it.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was little my neighbors treated me so well. I was raised by a single Mom and they helped to take care of me. I was baptized at 8 but my family wasn't active. I always knew in the heart the Gosple was true, I've been able to feel it as long as I can remember. So I held on to that feeling, always struggling in the church, I would go and then fall away again, that happened several times. Then someone told me "If your going to do it, (go to church) why not do it all the way?" (go all the time). And I realized I was only partially commited. So once I commited fully everything fell into place for me. I know the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that I foloow a true prophet today.

How I live my faith

I'm an Activity Days Leader. Two Mondays a month I teach Nine year old girls in my ward. We teach them Gosple principals, and do activities with them. I learn more from them then they do from me. They have such sweet spirits.
