Hi I'm Sue

I'm a Mormon. I am a convert to the church.

About Me

I am a high school English teacher in a border town. I served a mission for the church in Africa.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 15 when I read The Book of Mormon for the first time. I knew that book was scripture. There was an outpouring of the spirit as I listened to the missionaries and my sister tell me the story of restoration of the Gospel to the earth. As I learned more, I felt as if I had always known the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints was the Lord's church. I was baptised at 18 because my parents were worried that I had been persuaded by my sister and they were afraid for me. I waited 5 long years and since my baptism, I have experienced the greatest joy and overcome the greatest trials because of what my Savior has done for me. This is the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I teach the children in church. I also am the chorister for our beautiful little choir. It is also my priveledge to visit 7 women from our ward (congregation) on a monthly basis to see to their needs. In our little town, I participate in many acitvities and serve where asked.
