Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mom and a wife, a daughter and a sister. An Aunt and a friend. My life isn't very exciting as I spend much of my time doing Motherly type duties. I do enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to restaurants (probably because I didn't have to cook the food myself) and going to the movies. My husband and boys love frozen yoghurt, and when my autistic son once asked my husband where Heaven was, he gave directions to our regular jaunt.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the Church is true. I've always felt that it does nothing but teach love, kindness, compassion, service, a love of God, a love of our Savior and a love of each other. What a wonderful way to raise a family, with love, kindness, teaching them right from wrong and having morals and standards. Gosh, even if it wasn't true, I'd still want my family and myself to live this way.

How I live my faith

For me Church is a way of life, not a Sunday routine. I pray daily and read my scriptures when I can, even just a little, daily. I enjoy helping out at Church when asked and also if an opportunity presents itself, it's fun to dive right in and forget about things for a while. I have also been on the receiving end of many casseroles and desserts when things have been tough at home due to new baby or illness. I feel my Church has a strong community ethic, a large family all struggling and striving in our own individual ways, but we are all working towards the same goal, to return to live with our Heavenly Father and Savior.
