Hi I'm Lindsay

I'm a mother of two, a wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mormon living in Loveland, CO. I have two kids (who are awesome) and a really sweet husband. I love to play outside - hike, bike, climb, camp, the works. I love the sunshine. I've been a mormon my whole life, and I'm so grateful that I've had this foundation to direct me in my life. I come from a big family and we love to laugh and joke, and just spend time together when we can. I also love music and photography - I'm currently working to make photography my life profession. I also like to play volleyball and softball in what free time I have! :) I am super happy with my life. It isn't always easy - it isn't meant to be - but I love being a mormon and being able to teach my children good values that will help guide them in their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a mormon. I love that I know what the purpose of life is, that I know that there is a plan for each of us, and knowing that the family I'm with and love so much can be together forever. I love knowing that there is a prophet on the earth today to guide and direct us as he receives direct revelation from our Heavenly Father. I love knowing that despite not being perfect, Heavenly Father loves us, knows us individually, and gave His Son for us so that we could return to live with Him again after this life. I know that Jesus Christ is indeed our Savior, and He is there to help us, heal us, celebrate with us, comfort us, carry us, and save us. All He asks is that we believe in Him and do our very best. Being a mormon has taught me these things and when I asked God to tell if they were all true and right, he confirmed to me through the Holy Ghost that they are. I know in my heart that they are true, and this knowledge has helped guide me throughout my life, and been my rock in both good times and bad. I am proud to be a mormon.

How I live my faith

I been able to serve in many capacities for my church - with the youth, with children, with other women... Right now I teach a class on Sunday once a month to other women in my church. I really like to teach - it's one of my favorite things to do! But I especially love spending time with the youth. I draw such strength from them as they strive to live their lives in a wholesome way when there are so many that do not, or when they are made fun of for it. I admire the youth in my church for their strength. I also visit other ladies that live near me on a regular basis, and love the relationships I have built from doing so.
