Hi I'm Clare

I am a mother and wife and I stay home to take care of my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of 6 girls and 3 boys with parents who showed me their love for the Lord, each other and their love us children. This gave me a great foundation to start a family with my knight in shining armor. After my husband and I finished school, we moved far away from family and learned to make new friends in a new city. I enjoy using my creativity in meeting and working through life's challenges. As a wife and mother, I have opportunities everyday to help my family see the joy and find the humor in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family and began my testimony as a young child. As I have grown, so has my testimony in a very gradual way. I am grateful for the teachings of my parents that have helped me to learn of our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. I know that God knows who I am, loves me, and hears and answers my prayers. Through the atonement of the Savior, Jesus Christ, and baptism, I have been given the opportunity to learn and grow through faith and repentance as I work through trials in my life. To help me along my way are the words of the prophets of old in the scriptures. The Bible and the Book of Mormon together testify of Christ and His mission on the earth. We have a Prophet today who leads and guides through revelation from God, this restored church through the trials of this day. I am just a regular person and I am grateful that God loves me enough to have provided a way that someday I may return to His presence.

How I live my faith

I have experienced great joy in being a Latter-Day Saint. I have found that living the principles of the gospel, and serving others are a great formula for a happy life. I enjoy teaching the Cub Scouts, learning camping skills with the young women, and participating in the choir. There has been such a wonderful variety of people to serve and to serve with, from the toddlers in the nursery to the women learning home enrichment skills that I have been blessed beyond measure.
