Hi I'm Tyler Perkins

I grew up in Arizona. Moved to Idaho. Moved back. I love snowboarding. My favorite sport is football, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on March 11, 1998 in Mesa, Arizona. I was born into a mormon family who loves and cares for me. I got baptized when i was 8, and soon after that moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. I loved it there. My dad started his business with his friend soon after we moved. The partnership didn't work out and my dad was laid off. Struggling we decided that we needed to move back to Arizona. We lived at my grandmas house for about two months trying to sell our house in Idaho. It didn't sell to we were forced to move back up. We stayed there for about another 2-3 years. Then we found out that my grandpa was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. So once again we moved to Arizona. We lived with my grandma for about 3-4 months. During those months my grandpa passed away. We found a house in Mesa to rent and that is where we are now, alive and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the great example of my parents and friends. They help me and guide me each day. I have been blessed greatly with the gospel in my life. Jesus is also a great example to me and my family. Also, i love to know that I can die and be resurrected and live with my family again forever. It is really comforting to know that we have a prophet that leads us and guides us on the right path.

How I live my faith

In the church, i just got released as a president in the deacons quorum and moved up to the office of a teacher. Being the president has strengthened my testimony. And i know that being a teacher will strengthen my testimony too. I have activity nights every Wednesday which is called mutual. My dad and I are hometeaching companions. This means that we have assigned families that we visit each month just to check up on them and make sure that we are doing okay.
