I love eating, smelling and making curry... best food ever! I'm a vegetarian and currently still vegetarian strong even in the south! Miss my Utah Summer nights, Big Texas Sky, Arizona Family and my Hawaiian Salty Air... one day I will return to every place I love! This Life is Beautiful!!!

Why I am a Mormon

This question has often and continues to ponder my mind. The moment this question hit me harder then any other time was when I was in High School and I was one of two Mormons in my grade. We were sitting in American History and we started to go over religion. "The Mormons" got brought up and one girl looked over at me and said "Hey, aren't you Mormon? Why are you Mormon?" in that moment my mind went blank and my mouth went empty. I didn't know how to answer her question, it gave me a desire to start a quest to be able to answer that question. That quest took much faith and determination, thankfully knew where to go to gain that answer and that was the Book of Mormon. I knew that if I knew the Book of Mormon was true, I knew God called Joseph Smith to be a prophet I knew that he was given the priesthood and every prophet after him was called from God as well and that this was his Perfect Doctrine here on earth. So I simply read, pondered and prayed. A answer didn't come right away but I continued forward trying everyday to live life according to the principles found in the Gospel and when life happened and I hit a low of low I turned right back to the Book of Mormon and read Enos. When I read his words I pictured him as a real person with real problems. It hit me that if his sins could be forgiven so can mine, and if he was a real person this book is true and everything I wanted to know was answered! It didn't end there and it never will, it's a everyday conversion!

How I live my faith

I live by faith by reminding myself everyday that faith requires action, that I must do something everyday to show my Heavenly Father how much I love him and love those around me. I trust my life in Heavenly Father's and my Savior's hands knowing that if I keep the commandments and my covenants, do my part in all things he will take care me. Faith is not just a feeling but a CHOICE of ACTION.
