Hi I'm Stefanie

I grew up in Seattle. I love to jump rope, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Stefanie. I love to sew in my free time. I have an endless list of projects that keep me busy and happy! I spend my weekends exploring Utah and the surrounding states with my husband. We love to snowshoe, hike, boat, and find fun in National Parks. I can often be found packing up a picnic for dinner at the park. We love to travel and explore faraway lands. Some of my favorite countries are New Zealand, Croatia, and Indonesia. We are expecting a baby girl in a few months so I am trying to enjoy my sleep now!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the gospel by two loving parents who worked hard to teach me true principles. They taught me to choose happiness by making good choices and learning to follow the spirit. As I grew up and began asking more questions and learning more about the church, I discovered my own testimony of God, The Eternal Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Ghost. My testimony of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon are also central to my desire to continue living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I strive to honor my Heavenly Father, serve others, and live a good life because I believe that my Father in Heaven knows and loves me. I believe that my life has meaning, purpose and direction as I practice following the Savior.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day by consistently doing the things I know will bring me closer to Heavenly Father. Forming habits of prayer, scripture study and service are central to staying connected with Thee. I wake up early to read the Book of Mormon. I spend my day looking for oppportunities to serve those around me in my work, my community, and in my family. On Sundays, I serve other women who live near me by preparing music and lessons for Sunday meetings. I council with others to brainstorm ways we can together meet the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors. I clean my house and prepare food for my family because I know that families are eternal and I am happy as I serve them.
