Hi I'm Crosby Curry

I've been called to serve the people of Montreal, Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My biggest passions in life are music, traveling, and people. Life is about relationships, and nothing makes me happier than growing within relationships through music and memories. If I had an endless supply of money I would spend it traveling the world, sharing music with everyone. The beach is my happy place. My favorite artists are Norah Jones, Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, The Smiths, KOL, Local Natives, Jessica Cornish, and Celine. Someday I will travel to Tahiti, Samoa, Southern France, Sweden, Ireland, Istanbul, Greece, Bermuda, and Spain.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I don't have any great testimony building story of how I came to know the gospel is true. But I can say my faith has been tested enough to need to discover the truth of it on my own. Having faith and knowledge of my church's truthfulness has always been easy for me. My mom likes to tell me I was born with an eternal perspective. This doesn't mean I never waver. We're all human, and I sure know I am no where close to perfect! But I believe in this gospel and its truthfulness, which always brings be back to where I belong; right here, in this church.

How I live my faith

Currently I live in the most beautiful place in the world where the church is close and comfortably in my reach. I am surrounded by beautiful people that live and love the gospel like myself, and I am so grateful for that. People from all over the world inspire me every day with their stories of faith. I am constantly aspiring to live as worthy of a life as the special people that surround me here.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Crosby Curry
75% of the overall tithing amount is given to the church universities to help make higher education accessible and affordable for thriving students like myself. There is no better deal in the world that provides this good of an education at such a low cost. Show more Show less

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Crosby Curry
There are different levels of worthiness required within attending church and attending the temple. Church is open to any and all persons wishing to participate. However when attending the temple there are certain requirements that a person must commit to live in order to enter. While this process is difficult for many to achieve, the blessings that come from being able to attend the temple are worth every bit of struggle it takes to get there. Show more Show less
