Hi I'm Anthony Noble

I like to go surfing and laugh and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old and going to school at BYU-Hawaii studying Political Science. I recently when on a mission to Johannesburg South Africa and had an amazing experience there. I love to laugh and play any games because I am a very competitive person. I love sports, playing or watching especially like rooting for my home teams the Seattle SuperSonics, Mariners, and Seahawks!! Another thing I love doing is to surf!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Catholic and wasn't sure why I had to go to church every Sunday to hear some old guy talk. Around 14, I was going through a tough time in my life and wasn't sure what to do. I had met a person that was a member of the LDS church and my family and I decided to go and visit the church. I was so shocked with my experience there at the Mormon Church. Everyone was super friendly and it just felt like a loving atmosphere where I felt like part of a family. That was something that I didn't really have growing up. Then I started to see the missionaries and listen to what they had to tell me. When I was listening to their message, I thought it was really weird and didn't think I would want to join this church. After months of lessons, one of the sister missionaries asked me if I wanted to be baptized. I remember that moment because I started to feel something hit me with a lot of force in my heart. I knew it was the right thing to do and so I said yes. I remember crying tears of joy for some reason. Looking back it was one of the best decisions that I made in my life. It wasn't easy after though because a lot of my friends made fun of me and tried to give me a lot of anti-mormon doctrine but I was stubborn and did not let them sway me. This made me want to know more about the church and so I studied the scriptures more, read the Book of Mormon to really see if this was true. The more I searched, the more I felt and knew that it was true. I prayed to know if it was true and felt that it was the true church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church and increasing my testimony of the gospel. I feel that every day in my life, there are experiences that can test my faith. However, I know that what I do is up to me and if I do what is right, I will be bless for it. I love this church because there are people that care for you, friends and families members that honestly love you for who you are. I know that there are people watching me and it is up to me to set the example. Not to many people know about what this church is about other than the negative aspect of it. If people take the time to get to know the members and read the Book Of Mormon, they will see the truth of all things. Sometimes I wonder why I go to church or am a member of this church. But these thoughts will always follow by an experience that will humble me and remind me of the suffering that my savior went through for me and it makes me grateful and increase my desires to go to church and share my testimony with others.
