Hi I'm Jenna Anderson

I'm a Stay at Home Mother and an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a stay at home mom for 3 children. I love to cook, clean, sew, but also I love to pamper women! I am an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics and love to help women feel beautiful in their skin. In addition, I love music. I grew up playing piano and violin. Organ has become a new passion as I accompany at church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. As such, I have always had a testimony and a love for the Gospel. Growing up I always love Primary and Young Women's. It gave me a foundation for my testimony and taught me the principles and doctrines. As a Young Woman we went on Trek and followed the footsteps of the pioneers at Martin's Cove, WY. It was on that trip that solidified my testimony. I felt the angels helping us pull the handcarts up the hill as we were exhausted. I felt their presence in many other moments in that sacred place. I knew that I was following a generation of Saints who wouldn't stop walking to Zion for anything. I know that this Gospel is true! Jesus Christ loves me and knows me individually. Now, as a mother, I pass on this love and knowledge of the gospel. I chose to follow my Savior, Jesus Christ, because it brings happiness and true joy to my life. The children we have brought into our family bring true joy. When I follow Jesus Christ I am blessed. My home is at peace. I am a better parent. I am a better wife. The Gospel brings JOY!

How I live my faith

At church I have 2 callings. My first calling is leading and teaching the children ages 18 months-11 yrs. Children have a genuine love for goodness and are so teachable. As I teach and lead these children I strive to be a better person so I can be the best positive example for them. I love to be in the presence of children because they are so close to the Spirit. I learn from them as much as they learn from me. They have a simplicity of understanding the gospel which reminds me that I only need to focus on the basic doctrine. The next calling I have is visiting other women in the ward. As I visit them I bring a spiritual message that teaches doctrine, but specifically how to be better wives, mothers, and daughters of God. Not only do I live my faith through those two callings. I live my faith by how I live my life. Scripture study, prayer, family home evening, service, family history work, dressing modestly, saying clean words, teaching my children about Jesus...the list can keep going! My life is my faith.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Jenna Anderson
YES! A family can be sealed in the temple and as they follow the commandments and strive to live righteously they can be together as a family after they die. The family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for us. It is not "till death do we part". We get to live with our family after we die because Heavenly Father loves us, as long as we live in accordance to His commandments. Show more Show less
