Hi I'm Cristina

I grew up in Utah. I love the outdoors. I love children and want to be a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying to be an elementary teacher, and hope to finish in the next few years. I love the outdoors. Hiking, boating, swimming, biking, playing sports, and especially skiing are just a few activities I love to do outside. I am one of 5 children, and I love my family more than anything. I also recently was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ not only because it brings immeasureable joy to me and my family, not only because I have friends and a community at church, not only because I know the church provides all sorts of wonderful services to members and non-members alike, but I love the Gospel because I know it's true. That knowledge blesses my life everyday. It allows me to live a life that I am proud of. I get to serve others and more importantly serve my Savior.

How I live my faith

I recently got back from serving a full-time mission in Oklahoma City. I was there for18 months and adored it. Now I am back to going to school and working. I still attend church every Sunday and activities during the week. I also have assignments to teach a group of members in our congregation about being missionaries and visiting other members once a month to check on them and teach them about the gospel. I love the gospel and do everything in my power to read the scriptures and pray everyday. There is no substitute for those small and simple things.
