Hi I'm Nathan Behling

I have five sisters, each has their own brother, me. I feel at home in this world because of the church and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud father of my son and daughter. I went to school for diagnostic x-ray and radiation therapy. My hobbies are hiking, kayaking and boxing, traveling. I love good clean jokes and inspiring conversations. I love cooking, exercising and wood working. I am a people person and make friends easily. I am good company for myself and generally am very satisfied with my life. I went to Chile where I served a mission for the Church and now I have a soft place in my heart for Latino people. I am a clean and domesticated person. I try to be as independent as I can be and try to make an effort to help other people as often as time permits. I have goals for my life and even though its taking me a while to get my life in order I want to be persistent and see my goals be fulfilled. I value Loyalty, Family, and Friendship. Just as a side note, one day I would like to get a Honda Fury motorcycle.

Why I am a Mormon

Because of my savior I can become a better person and overcome my weaknesses. I can leave the guilt and shame of my imperfections and start a new life. If I identify myself alone my self worth seems insecure at best. If I identify myself with Christ I am perfect. With my Savior I am clean. With Jesus I'm as good as I ever hope to become. With my Savior I feel peace and a sense of purpose for my life. As my partner, my Savior has lifted my burdons. Under the view of his vast creations in the night sky, my life in comparison also has brillance, meaning and a lasting purpose. Because of my Savior my life has value. My circumstances don't have to deminish my value. My challenges don't need to bring me down. I can be happy for the rest of my life because my Savior chose to suffer for all my sins and was willing to take away all of my imperfections. There isn't a more important relationship that needs to be strengthened than our own personal relationships with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. They truly can turn any imperfection into a strength. I love to Identify myself in terms of being a member of my family and of my membership in the church, both of which I am proud of.

How I live my faith

I love teaching gossple essentials class. It's an honor to teach new members content that maybe their hearing and accepting for the first time. If you make the oportunity you can actually feel their testimonies develop while you teach. I love talking about the gossple with my neighbors. I'm excited to share the Book of Mormon with them as a member missionary. I have found strength among members who are applying the atonment in their own lives and genuinly want to live with confidence and happiness. I love helping in any service capacity at the bishop store house or in the community where service is needed. I also love visiting the temple and finding peace while worshiping God there.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Nathan Behling
I have not read any other book that helps my learn more about my Savior and helps me feel closer to him than by my experiences with the Book of Mormon. The messages in this Book help me learn how I can strengthen my personal relationship with him. Show more Show less
