Hi I'm Uinton J Kakau

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm on my first year at BYU Hawaii and I'm loving it here come to study.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 21 and I went on my mission to New Zealand a year later. I play rugby together back home with a lot of my friends they were member of the church. They'd shown me a really good example even though they weren't do good at school or anything. I started to think of serving a mission because of what I learned from the good example of these returning missionaries. I wanted to serve a mission so that I would became like them. I truly know that this is the gospel of the Jesus Christ and it's fullness. I gained so much of my testimony after my mission. I'm so glad I did serve a mission.

How I live my faith

I was grown up having three of my uncles being a minister in other faith. Because I was staying with most of them I had this feeling that I wanted to become like uncles. But at the mean time I did often pray to my Heavenly father to show me the truth that I might don't have or I should need to know. Apparently, I joined the church and I knew my prayer answered. I have learned so much since I've became a member. First time I study and gained the knowledge about the Plan of Salvation I knew it and I knew that God is there to reveal to me things are hiding that should be for everyone to know. I am so forever grateful and glad for this everlasting gospel not gain knowledge but I know what's God has plan for me.
