Hi I'm Rob

I grew up in Upstate New York. I am attending college for Communications. I love this Gospel and its teachings. I'm 100% Mormon.

About Me

I grew up just outside in New York just outside of the the city Rochester. After graduating High school I wanted to get away from home and learn some things about myself and so I moved to Southern California. a year Later I served a Mission for the Mormon church in the Hawaiian Islands. I loved my mission, though its was still a lot of hard work and discipline. Today I am back in the Hawaiian islands only instead going to college in the small town of Laie.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I practice Mormonism, both because of spiritual experiences and Logical study and understanding. When growing up in Upstate New York I was one of very few members of my church and had to many times explain my Church's teachings to my friends and family. As I went through school I was always having questions about my faith and my friends faiths. I ended up better studying my own faith and attending other christian church's with friends to find out what the different beliefs were among Christians and even Jews and Muslims. from my study and very powerful experiences that continued to take place through the years; today I have very strong personal belief that this Gospel is both right for me and the key for the entire human race to find ultimate happiness and understanding of their purpose here. This Gospel and its teachings have done so much for me and asks so little in return back, which I believe is the true nature of God. He(God) Loves us and will do so much for us, but it is not easy at times with all the craziness of this world to find him. Still He is always waiting for me and He waits for you.

How I live my faith

Well First off I just want to give the disclaimer that by no means am I one of those perfect church going members that seem to stumble or mess up. I have had many challenges and my fair share of mistakes in life, some may think I am a "solid Mormon" and others may see my true weaknesses. I do my best though and I try to make it my # one priority to study the scriptures every morning. My life is crazy and its seems my anchor each and ever day is when I open up those writings of the Prophets of the past and I feel my Holy Father in Heaven speak to me through their words in the scriptures. In my church I am also given the responsibility of organizing all the men in the congregation to go out and spend a little time teaching and sharing with other members to strengthen one another and look after each other in cases of emergencies. In all I try my best to follow the basics of the gospel and I am overwhelmingly blessed for it. I love God and his plan for us.
