Hi I'm Sara
I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a teenager born and raised in Utah. I'm starting college in Fall 2012 and I plan to major in Personal Financial Planning. I eat ice cream by the gallons. I love making lists. I threaten computers. I'm a one-of-a-kind average person and I am Mormon.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born to Mormon parents. The best way I can explain about being raised in the LDS faith is from this quote by Elder Carl B. Pratt, "I never seriously doubted the truthfulness of the gospel. Like many teenagers, I occasionally questioned things in my mind, but I never felt that the Church wasn't true." I gained a testimony when I decided to read the Book of Mormon before my 13th birthday. By the time I made this goal, I needed to read 10 chapters a day to finish on time. It was the best decision I ever made. Along with daily prayer, I had never felt so spiritually happy before.
How I live my faith
I love participating in family history. I take the role of finding family members seriously. No one should be forgotten. I love learning new stories about my family and I think everyone should be involved. I live my faith by following the standards. Some teenagers think they are hard, but I never feel that way when I know I have strength from God.
