Hi I'm Steph

I'm a graphic design & photography student, married to an architecture student. I love creativity & hamburgers. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a graphic design and photography student who loves to travel and spend time with my husband. Someday I will run my own business out of my home so I can be a mommy as well. My hair changes more than my clothes. I love eating and sleeping, but I feel most fulfilled when the dishes are clean and I have projects to work on. If I had one piece of advice to give to a large group of people, it would be to pray then sleep, in that order.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know, and always have known, that this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I try to be like Jesus.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

The Book of Mormon, Bible, and other scriptures are means of communication from our Heavenly Father to us on earth; we speak to Him through prayer and one of the ways He answers us is through the scriptures. We've been given a promise that if we read the Book of Mormon we will be given "an added measure of the Spirit of the Lord" ("The Power of the Book of Mormon," Ensign, June, 1988, p. 6). This spirit allows personal revelation to come into our hearts and our minds. These include thoughts and answers He has for us after we've asked him in sincere prayer for them. Answers and ideas can also come directly from the text itself. Within the words of the scriptures there are timeless lessons and ideas that were written by revelation specifically for our time that can, and should, be applied to our every day lives. Praying for guidance to understand, allowing the Spirit of the Lord into our hearts, and honestly searching the scriptures is a powerful channel of communication between our Heavenly father and us, His children.
