Hi I'm Nathanael

I am a Junior in high school. I absolutely love music. I am a Ute fan, and I plan to be come an engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am half Hispanic and half White. I guess you can say I am a "wheat cracker". I love foreign or exotic foods, but the best food is homemade food. I really love music, it makes my days better and faster. When I just need to chill I play on the piano or drums, depending on how my mood is. I love going on dates and socializing with girls of my age. I am currently a Junior in high school, and I love Math, Science, and History. I love to learn and experience life, even if the days are bad or good. I am planning on attending the University of Utah when I graduate from high school. I have started to focus on Biomedical, Aeronautical, or Nuclear Engineering. I think I might go into Biomedical. I have taken engineering classes over the past 3 years of my high school education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. I truly did not understnad it until I saw how the world really operates and how it is not a perfect world. I had realized that we, as members of His Church, are in this world, but not of this world. I learned much when I attended the class of Victory Over Self (VOS) class. It taught me so much on the power of repentence, the Plan of Salvation or Happiness, and especially the Atonement. VOS is for anyone who is not perfect and is struggling with any problem, whether it be sin or transgression. I know that I am not a perfect person. Yet I know that I am destined to be a part of a great plan that Heavenly Father has in store for me. I know that we came here by design, not by coincidence. When I first went to my first course of VOS, I was overcome by the Spirit so powerfully I had to follow it. The impact left me with only one choice. Take the chance to redeem myself. In the next few weeks, I had conquered my problem that I had faced for so many years. I had conquered my wall that I could not do by myself. I had to do it with the aid of our Savior, our Redeemer, our most trusted and perfected Friend, the Living Christ. I will never forget how I had conquered what I thought was once impossible. But I know that if you fight on the side of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, that nothing is impossible. It will never be easy for us, but it is possible for all of us to become like our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday to partake of the Sacrament. As part of my duty as a Priest, I help brake and bless the Sacrament. This is vital to all the other members of the congregation. I also go to Seminary every school morning to learn of the scriptures and their meanings. I act with the Aaronic Priesthood and I know that it was part of the Creation of this World. I know that the Aaronic Priesthood is part of Heavenly Father's Power. I play piano for Opening Priesthood Meeting, where all of the Priesthood Holders meet before we depart to our classes. I have the calling as a hometeacher to those who have great faith and love in the Gospel. I am grateful to know and hometeach such members. I also have the calling of being a Family History Consultant. It is a wonderful blessing to work in this field and help others in the work of genealogy. I know that this Church is true, and I know for certain it was restored by Joseph Smith. A boy with the question of which church to join and what was true, and had the faith to face persecution, trials, and his own death. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. My favorite teachings come from Abinadi, Smauel the Lamanite, and Alma the Elder and Alma the Younger. I am grateful to know such truth and light in this world. Without this Gospel, we would surely be lost like those during the great Apostasy. I am planning to serve a mission, it is part of my duty as a Priesthood Holder. I know that at times life does seem to be tough and unbearable, but that is only for our own good. The Lord will help us in every way. I know that he loves each and every one of us, and he can't wait for us to return to Him in his Kingdom.
