Hi I'm Russ Lee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 9 children. 7 brothers and 1 sister. I recently received my BS in family science and minored in business management. I am a devoted husband and father. I like to play board games and video games with my family and watch movies. Recently, I attained my ham radio license. I plan to start graduate school next fall.

Why I am a Mormon

My large family up bringing was key to my decision to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents taught me to have good values and to treat everyone with respect and love. It wasn't until my teenage years when I started to seek my own testimony of Jesus Christ. Through scripture study and prayer, I learned that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He has provided a plan for me and my family to follow and return to His presence. Someday, I will thank him in person for all that He has done for me. Whenever I read the Holy Bible, I feel the Holy Spirit confirm peace in my heart that the words are true. I have the same peace while reading the Book of Mormon. The truth, the peace, and the miracles I have witnessed while being a mormon have changed my life forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best everyday. Most days I fall short of my best, but I have learned that is why I have my Savior. He truly helps me through His Holy Spirit to learn from my mistakes and to try again the next day. I like to think of myself as a good person, trying not to offend, but doing my part to better the society I live in. My LDS faith gives me the opportunity to serve my neighbors by going to some of their homes once a month a sharing a gospel message with them. Doing that helps me to remember my faith and commitment to follow Jesus Christ. I am thankful for nice neighbors that let me visit them and that share their testimonies with me.
