Hi I'm Brooke

I grew up in Switzerland and moved to Utah when I was 13. I love country music, skiing, and football. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a junior in college studying nursing. Between all the tests, homework, and clinical rotations, my life can get pretty busy. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. My family is the most important part of my life. They are my best friends. I also love to travel, ski, hike, and read.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormon, so I was born into the church. As a young adult, I put the words in the Book of Mormon to the test and asked God if it was true. I received a feeling of confirmation that it is true and that as a result, everything else about the Church is true since the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion. I have felt God and Jesus Christ's love for me through scripture study and prayer. I'm happiest when I'm trying my best to live the gospel. I want to experience this happiness throughout my life and the eternities. I also want to live with my family forever. Because my parents were married and sealed in the temple, we will be able to live together for the rest of eternity as long as we keep God's commandments. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

In short, I strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I read the Book of Mormon every day and go to the Temple once a week. I focus on being optimistic so that I can feel happy and have the Holy Ghost with me. I try to be kind and good. I am far from perfect, but when I do these things, I feel happy and at peace.
