Hi I'm Meghan.

I'm a mom. I'm a registered nurse. I'm half Asian. I'm a world traveler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Florida, the Netherlands, and North Carolina. I went to college at Brigham Young University to study to be a registered nurse. I spent a summer in Ghana on a medical anthropology trip. I love to travel- I hope to visit all seven continents and 50 states with my husband. We've been to 25 states in the 5 years we've been married. I worked full-time as an Intensive Care Nurse before I became a Stay at Home mom. I would like to go back to get my graduate degree one day. In my spare time I love to cook, run, take pictures and be outside. I'm a novice to sewing but would like to improve that hidden talent.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converted to the gospel when I was in pre-school. I continue to be a Mormon because I know the church is true. I love that we are here on this earth in family units. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and that is why we are supposed to be in families. I know I will be with my family even after death because we can be sealed together as families in the temple. I love having a living prophet on the earth today who can lead and guide our church. I've met the prophet and other apostles and know they are men of God going about a good thing.

How I live my faith

Every week I teach the 5&6 year old children. I love teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are so eager to learn and keep me on my toes. Every month I visit 3 other women in our church to fellowship them and see if I can be of service to them. I teach my child the gospel by baby steps and by example. We read the scriptures and pray together every day.
