Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my junior year at Brigham Young University. I am in the accounting program, and I enjoy every minute of it. Some of my hobbies include reading, singing, swimming, hiking, running, and doing anything outdoors. I recently received a mission call and will be serving in the Cochabamba Bolivia mission. I leave July 2013. I am so excited to serve the people in Bolivia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family it has always been a part of my life. I am currently an LDS member because it brings me hope and happiness. I can't imagine my life any other way.

How I live my faith

There are many ways I try to live my faith. One of the most important things I have learned throughout my life is to trust that everything will work out. There is so much heartache and disappointment in life that it can be very easy to get down on yourself. The Lord wants to be apart of our lives. He especially wants to be apart of the major decisions we make like: (1) To believe in Christ (2) When you choose a spouse (3) Your eternal family. I know the life plan I have for myself, but sometimes, really most of the time, it does not reflect what the Lord has planned for me. My new motto for life and for how I live my life and faith is from 2Nephi 4:34 "O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever." Life can be scary and it can be hard to move forward when you have fallen, but I know I can do all things. Not all things I want to do, but all things the Lord wants me to do. Marriage and Families are being attacked by the world, and it scares me to think of the world my children will live in. I am not yet married, but I worry about it. When I get married I want it to be forever. I know the Lord will help me when the time will come. For now all there is for me to do is trust. That is how I live my faith. I trust in the lord in all things.
