Hi I'm Tarrah

I'm a happy wife & mommy, preschool teacher, 'hopeful' author, and someone who loves to be with friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother to 5 children (2 twin girls who are up in heaven). I've learned a lot about eternal families and what it takes to have joy in this life. I taught 1st grade for 4 years and now teach preschool out of my home. I love it! I love to play piano, read, blog hop, travel the world with my hubby and write novels.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith is the foundation for my happiness. I live each day knowing that my family will be together 'forever'. Everything I do is in effect of that promise of eternal families. I want to be better because of what is waiting for me after this life. When my twins died, my heart was saddened but my soul was lifted because of what I knew would happen after we died. Death is not the end...we will be with our loved ones again. I am so grateful for this gospel and the comfort it gives me. There is freedom in living the gospel. I love the peace I feel when I choose the right and watch my loved ones do the same. We are taught many principles that will help our lives; such as, prayer, fasting, scripture study, family home evening, family prayer, and other things that will enrich our lives and help us when we need it. I know this church is true, and I'm thankful for a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I know that the gospel has been restored to this earth in these latter-days. I'm grateful for the Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. I believe in eternal families and can't wait to be with my family forever. I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently the Primary President and a visiting teacher in my ward. My counselors and I are over the children 18 months to 12 years old. We assign teachers to teach age-based curriculum, and we also share a lesson in a combined sharing time each Sunday. We also have someone called and assigned to play the piano and another to lead the music during a special singing time. I love Primary, and I love Sundays. I learn so much from children. I love when they ask questions because I get to learn from their curiosity. So much is learned in our youth, and I'm glad to be a part of it.
