Hi I'm Gemma Grover

I'm a traveler, I'm Italian, I like great food, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in peaceful Provo, Utah and attended Brigham Young University for two semesters. I wanted to see more of the world, so I found a job and moved to Stockholm, Sweden when I was 18 years old. I traveled and met all sorts of people, experimented with different mindsets and religions, yet, never gave up the values I had been taught from a young age. While I traveled, I began to see how connected I truly was to people throughout the world and I really felt sisterly love for everyone I met. I strayed from the LDS church, but eventually, my beliefs coincided with that church because it gave me a sense of happiness that I couldn't find by being a part of anything else! Even though I was raised by two Mormons and had grown up in a predominantly Mormon community, I really became a converted Christian and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 19. I would spend a lot of time walking through the forests of the Swedish island I lived on, meditating, thinking, trying to come to conclusions. I still do not know everything, BUT.... I believe in a loving God. I believe in a Christ that atoned for our sins. I believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I believe that this life is a small part of a long plan, I believe that I have a purpose, I believe that families are important, and I believe that we should treat EVERYONE as a brother or sister. Thanks for reading.

Why I am a Mormon

It makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I am serving an LDS mission March of 2013 - September of 2014 in Carlsbad California so that I may help and reach anyone who is looking for a greater knowledge of Christ. I do good for others and accept all. I am kind to the earth. I am constantly trying to improve the mind, body, and spirit that God has given to me. I try to get to know and understand all of God's children. I try to read The Bible, The Book of Mormon, or something spiritually uplifting throughout my day.
