Hi I'm Lauren McMurray

Sister Missionary in Frankfurt Germany! I love life. Triathlons, climbing mountains, the outdoors, running, family, it's all good.

About Me

Why is it that man is on this earth? So that he might have J O Y. I recently returned from serving in the Frankfurt Germany Mission and will be attending Utah Valley University in the fall. I plan on pursuing a career in Business Marketing and my athletic pursuit to toe the line of the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. I love the outdoors, triathlon, running, red rock, chocolate chip cookies, the sun, Bon Iver, Birkenstocks, flannel shirts, and art. Equal to the love I have for these things, is my love for trials. Adam fell, so that mankind might have joy. In order for man to experience bliss, man must taste of the bitterness of life. God's plan is to refine our soul into the purity it was intended to be. I know life is good, because I know the bad. I am so grateful for the tears, sickness, test of faith, injuries, mental burdens, and refinement my soul has experienced...and has yet to experience. As the Book of Mormon repetitively states, "AND IT CAME TO PASS" 2 Nephi 5:27

Why I am a Mormon

Simple. I am Mormon because I know from EVERY single ounce of my core that this gospel is true. Pray, read your scriptures, obey, and all will be okay!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Germany Frankfurt mission. I can promise that this gospel is true. It is more than worth it to live this gospel and experience the beautiful blessings that come from it. Come to know that this gospel and the Book of Mormon is true. Personal testimonies and a spiritual countenance come by an accumulation of small and SIMPLE acts. Read, pray, and obey. This gospel is simple. This gospel is true. This gospel is good, live it and all will be well.
