Hi I'm Heather

I am a woman, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, future mother, Texan, registered nurse, teacher, A child of God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy watching chick flicks, hiking, biking, cooking, serving in the community and spending time with my husband. I love weddings, bridal showers and baby showers where you can rejoice in others happiness as they embark on new adventures in their lives. I am a people person and compassionate towards others. I enjoy getting to know others as well as helping them with their health as a registered nurse. I love to deepen my relationships with others and understand why they do the things they do. I studied public health which did not land me the career I wanted so I went back to get my second degree in nursing. I graduated and got married 2 weeks later and moved to live with my new husband who I love very much. We are excited to start a family of our own.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. There came a time when I needed to choose for myself that this was the path I wanted to follow and not just following my parents footsteps. After I graduated and moved away, I explored other options. I did not find lasting happiness with other lifestyles and realized that true happiness leans on my faith and beliefs in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. Being close to God and only worrying what God thinks of me was more important to me than other lifestyles that bring only temporary fulfillment.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving and being involved in the community such as Red Cross or walks for different diseases. I also love serving in my church organization as a teacher for 5-6 year old children and in the women's organization where I help the women serve and love others.
