Hi I'm Matthew Norton Gunderson

I'm very loud. I laugh a lot. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa Arizona, and I love it here. I also served a mission for the Mormon church in Seattle Washington, and I love it there too. I have every intention of being a snowbird when I'm old and retired, spending my winters in the pacific northwest, and my winters in beautiful Mesa. I'm a very easy going person, and I laugh a lot. I love sports (Especially my PHX based teams) good food, movies, and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes sense to me. Having grown up with the teachings of the church, I believed it to some degree my entire life. I believed my parents when they told me it was true, and then when I was in high school, I really figured it out for myself too. Having read the Book of Mormon, and prayed about it, I can say that i believe it with all my heart. I have always found comfort in the words of my Savior in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Having read both, I know that both of them are scripture that come from our Father in Heaven. They both testify about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and by following the teachings included, your relationship with Our Heavenly Father, and his Son Jesus Christ will be strengthened every time. It has worked for me, and i know that it will work for anyone who tries it. I'm not perfect, I know that, but as long as I try my hardest, and live my life as close as possible to the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, I will be able to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to emulate the life my Savior. He truly is the perfect example. Being as Christ-like as possible to everybody I meet. Service is probably one of the biggest ways to live my faith in my mind. Whether it's something big, or something small, it doesn't matter. Really what it comes down to is loving everyone, treating them with respect, and just trying to be help out in any way we can.
