Hi I'm Jack

And so happy that I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 72 years old and a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. I graduated from The Westminster College in Business Management while married and raising 4 daughters and a son. My life has evolved over the years from being physically active in outdoor sports and significant social interaction to being a primary care giver to my wonderful wife of 53 years.

Why I am a Mormon

The question why I am a Mormon? The answer is simple. My challenges and struggles are no different than others, however through the gospel of Jesus Christ our lives are made easier. My sweetheart has had cancer, a stroke and numerous bone breaks, and yet we love each other and the Lord. Life is still good and that goodness is made possible through our knowledge of Christ and his Atonement for us.

How I live my faith

There is a sign over our front door that says "You have entered a Christ Centered Home" and although we are in our senior years, we try to follow that motto by volunteering for the church in missionary efforts, doing genealogical research, and by simple acts of kindness. Although our health is limited our desire to live as Jesus Christ would want us to is still the most important thing in our lives.
