Hi I'm Kyle Lin

I grew up in Hong Kong. I'm a family man, a safety officer, a law student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a really out-going person. I like sports, and I love music. I play the piano and I love to use music to make people feel peace and happy. I hope everyone is happy every single day. I love talking to people and hear their stories. I believe we are all brothers and sisters as we are created by a loving Father in Heaven. I also believe that life will be happier as we learn to love and care each other more. I am a safety officer, a law student, and I'm a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the way I live, the teachings of Jesus Christ is how we live, not how we talk. I was raised in this religion since my parents are active members of the church, they have been living by these principles and taught me these things. We had experiences together that I felt such love from my parents and heavenly parents. I love them and I love the Gospel. There are experiences that I felt real peace of mind, confidence, and that I was inspired and uplifted. At times, I felt comforted and strengthened. These are the feelings that I know is the Spirit of God testifying to me that these things are true. God does loves every single one of His children unconditionally, He cares so much and always wants us to be happy. Although I was raised in this environment, I have many times doubt and even disregard the principles I have learned. I have spent much time pondering and thinking if this is the real path that will lead me to everlasting happiness. I studied the scriptures diligently, prayed with all my heart wanting a definite clear answer. Knowing that I must exercise faith and show my desire, I knelt down and prayed specifically if the things I read in the scriptures, especially The Book of Mormon are true. The feelings are very special, so unique that no words can really describe it, but I felt for sure that these things are true, I felt happy, peace and enlightened. I become happier and more successful as I live by the principles I learn.

How I live my faith

I live my life by what I learned from the gospel. I exercise faith to do what's right and what's best for people. I try to make changes in my life and be a better person. I actively participate in serving others everyday. Knowing that nobody is perfect, i accept peoples' differences and learn from others. Meanwhile, I try to uplift others and encourage others to be better. I teach others about the gospel and have discussions with them. I love talking with people about the gospel and the experiences we have. Personally, I love studying the scriptures and the doctrine of Jesus Christ, I also participate fully in church services and activities. I have a calling to serve and I love it. Living my faith makes me stronger, helps me to become better, and I learned so much from others. Living the gospel is to shape how we live our lives, how we treat others and how we could better our families, communities and even the world.
