Hi I'm Kristen

I'm a happily married mother of 3, Dental Hygienist and Musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 33 year old dental hygienist/piano teacher. I am also a daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mom. I am super crazy busy, but I love life. Working so hard can be a challenge, but fulfilling. My favorite times are laughing with my kids, and making my patients or piano students laugh. My family means the world to me. I love spending time with my family. I also love gardening, reading tons of books, playing the classics on piano, and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my parents taught me the gospel principles while I was growing up. We had weekly family home evenings and scripture study. Having time with my family together, talking about Jesus and his teachings are good memories for me. My greatest lessons were learned through the examples of others in my life. I have always admired people who live the teachings of our Savior. That’s how I want to be. I continue to be a member of this church because I know its teachings are true and it brings me happiness and peace. There is nothing in life that cannot be faced with the strength of this gospel. I want my children to have the same knowledge and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live this gospel by loving and serving others. I study the scriptures to learn and to get closer to my Heavenly Father. I pray as often as I need to for help, guidance, strength and assurance – and sometimes that means a lot! I also pray to thank my Heavenly Father for so many wonderful things He gives me in my life. I attend church weekly and serve in the church wherever help is needed. My favorite time serving in the church was conducting singing time with the Primary kids. I loved teaching the gospel principles in song, and feeling the Spirit through music. The best way I can sum up how I live my faith is by doing what the Savior would do. This is a question I ask myself when making big decisions or small. I find it will always make me the happiest in the end.
