Hi I'm Aaron

I grew up in Oregon. I joined the Air Force and now live in Omaha, Nebraska. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with three children. I love to travel, and the Air Force has given me that opportunity. My most enjoyable time is always spent with my family. We enjoy going on walks and playing games. Reading is a passion of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was always expected of us to follow the teachings of Christ. When I was just turning 15, I really wanted to know for myself about the truthfulness of the Gospel. I didn't want to rely on my parents beliefs anymore. I took my questions and doubts to the Lord in prayer. It was at this time the the Spirit came over me to testify of the truthfulness of this Gospel. It was like somewhere inside me a voice said "You have always known this Church is True. Now you can go forward with your own testimony". Since that time, my knowledge and faith have increased, as well as my testimony. How wonderful it is to know where we came from, where we are going, and what we need to do to live with our Father in Heaven again. I have been so blessed to be able to go to the Lord in prayer and know with out doubt that He will answer. I am a Mormon because I know Joseph Smith too went to the Lord with questions in prayer. That prayer was answered. Through Joseph Smith, the Authority and full Gospel of our Father in Heaven was restored to us. The Book of Mormon was translated through the Spirit and given to us as "Another Testament of Jesus Christ". The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church upon the face of this Earth.

How I live my faith

It is a privilege for me to work with the Youth of our community. I am the Young Men's President of our Ward. I gives me so much joy to be able to mentor and guide these young men towards their goals. Helping to teach and reenforce standards of our Gospel helps to lead these youth into productive roles as they get older. Participating in the Boy Scouts of America is just one way that I get to interact with the youth. Camping and working on service projects together, all the while being able to show them that life is so great whey you live the teachings of Christ.
