Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mother and grandmother. I love serving others. I also like to ski, read, sew, crochet and be with my family.

About Me

I am the mother of four children, two of whom have disabilities and I'm grateful to be able to continue to care for them at home. My children have all become adults and I have learned much from them and love being their mother. My husband is the most patient and kind person I know. I'm so grateful for his influence in my life. My husband and I enjoy gardening in our large yard together.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a great heritage of active Mormon ancestors. I was taught the gospel in my home by my parents who were honest and hard-working. As I grew up I prayed to know the truth for myself and was blessed with a testimony of the truthfulness of what my parents have taught me. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love all of us and want us to be happy.

How I live my faith

I have served in the womens, youth and young women's organizations in our congregation. I currently serve as a leader of the women's organization in our congregation of seven units known as a "stake". Each unit has leaders who I work closely with. I love serving with these women and learning together how to increase our faith and personal righteousness, strengthen our homes and families, and seek to serve those in need.
