Hi I'm Dallin

I grew up in Salt Lake City and met my wife at Brigham Young University. We love to travel and visit new cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life, spontaneity, and adrenaline rushes. I meet these loves through serving my family, friends, and community. I also enjoy cycling, roller coasters, four wheeling, guitars, and soccer. I have been married almost two years. My wife and I enjoy similar musical talents, watching sports, and movies. She's also up for a board game anytime. I will be entering University of Michigan's Ross MBA program this fall and plan to go into investment banking post-MBA. My wife hopes to have completed a Masters of Accounting by the time I graduate.

Why I am a Mormon

There are innumerable reasons why I am Mormon. First and foremost, my family has been in the Church for many generations. When I was fourteen, I prayed to God and asked if the Book of Mormon is true. After some time, a feeling came over me that I can't explain. I can only describe it as a true confidence in the truth of this wonderful book. At the age of twenty, I was in a horrible car accident. I should have died from this accident, and doctors are still amazed that I survived the injuries I sustained. From immediate results after healing blessings to the spiritual impressions received while in the hospital, this experience is nothing short of a miracle. I have only explained measurable events, but if I could show what is in my heart, one could truly understand my commitment to my faith.

How I live my faith

My current calling is to teach with the missionaries weekly those who are interested in the Church. I also visit a couple church members on a monthly basis to share an enlightening message and to ask what service I can provide them. For example, this week I visited a family where I helped change light bulbs in hard to reach places and shared a message about Jesus Christ's love. I also live my faith through paying 10% of my income to the Church, striving daily to live all commandments, and attending all three hours of church each Sunday. My family also chooses to reserve Sundays as a day of rest. We prioritize activities by whichever helps us feel closest to our Heavenly Father.
