Hi I'm Scott

I'm a convert to the church, baptized in the Pacific, and married in the Tokyo Temple. God bless America. Oh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lead a nomadic life and had the same kind of career path... nomadic. Currently, I work for a local collage and love the opportunities and challenges it provides me. I find joy in all things equestrian and love the basic goodness of bluegrass music. The ring of a solid banjo lick accompanying sweet fiddle playing touches my heart. As a father of four, I've tried to teach my children to enjoy life... in all its variety.

Why I am a Mormon

Originally, I struggled with the far-out concepts found in what we once called "organized religion." After years of research, I began to see that there was a definite and detailed organization throughout the world. There was/is a plan and I could continue to learn about it. I had two personal and very powerful spiritual experiences. One proved to me that there was indeed a being apposed to good... a "Devil" if you will. The other event proved the opposite, that Christ lives and that all goodness comes through him and his plan. To me, His plan IS the gospel.

How I live my faith

I work daily to be kind to all. I enjoy helping and serving others in our local area (ward) as a High-Priest group leader.
