Hi I'm Tara

I am a recent college graduate, planning to attend law school in Hawaii soon and I am a Latter Day Saint.

About Me

I currently live in southern Utah, where I just graduated with my bachelors in human communication from Dixie State College. I love to travel! I also love music, movies, and hanging with friends and family. I am the oldest of four children in a close-knit family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts but I was raised and baptized into the church by the time I turned 8 and active throughout high school. Once in college, I had spells of inactivity and my natural curiosity led me to "eat, drink, and be merry", in every sense of the phrase. I will admit, I had lots of fun! But, I also experienced (and witnessed) the negative aspects that accompany such behavior and the lifestyles that ignore Christ. I am a very logical-minded person and the Church has always been able to give me logical answers (as well as spiritual comfort) to confusing and difficult questions in life. It just makes sense. I am a member because I believe in Him; I am grateful for my life, and I want to make my Father happy.

How I live my faith

I end each day with a prayer in my heart that I am thankful for what I have been given. I try to refine myself, to remember not to judge others because I don't want to be judged. I try to be more and more like Christ in my thoughts and in my actions, and it is a never-ending fight.
